While Tessa creates experiences for people to escape the physical world and immerse themselves into others, she also makes it her responsibility to allow the viewer to recognize themselves in the character, scene, situation, and hopes the experience might inspire a new perspective or provide a cathartic moment for the viewer to connect within themselves and those in their lives.
When Tessa switched from studying Physical Therapy to Theatre, her first audition landed her the leading role in a musical, “Peter and The Starcatcher” in 2018. She continued to land leading roles and received a handful of Best Actress Awards throughout her time in college theatre, an Irene Ryan Acting Nomination for her dramatic role in the play “The Jacksonian”, and Best of San Diego: Best Actress Nomination for her comedic role in “The Booking” short film. More notably, Tessa is known for her integrity, mindset, and professional work ethic.
Tessa was born in the Netherlands and raised between the East and West Coasts of the U.S. moving around with her family every couple years. She is the oldest of four kids, was homeschooled, and if not spending time with her family or on set, you will most likely spot her in the gym or somewhere taking in the fresh air in nature.
